Oasis 2027 tour triggers ticket scams and massive price hikes
The Oasis Live '27 Tour has triggered a massive ticket frenzy, particularly for the three scheduled shows at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on July 26, 29, and 30. While official sales are being conducted through a controlled system using non-transferable personal codes, authorities and consumer groups have issued urgent warnings regarding widespread fraud and secondary market exploitation.
Codacons has announced it is filing complaints with the Public Prosecutor's Office, Agcom, and the Postal Police due to astronomical secondary market prices. Some tickets are being listed on unauthorized platforms for as much as €10,000, representing a markup of over 1,400% from official prices. The Postal Police have warned fans against falling victim to online scams, including fake access codes, phishing emails, and clone websites. They emphasized that official access codes are personal, non-transferable, and cannot be purchased.
Amidst the chaos, Liam Gallagher has maintained an active and often ironic presence on social media. He has engaged with fans regarding the ticket hunt with cryptic and humorous responses, while also clarifying that while the 2027 tour is not officially a farewell tour, it could potentially be the band's last. Noel Gallagher has previously indicated that no new music is expected from the group despite the reunion.
