Oaxaca launches 'September, Month of the Will' campaign

Governor Salomón Jara Cruz has launched the 'September, Month of the Will' campaign in Oaxaca to promote legal certainty and estate planning. The initiative aims to help citizens decide the destination of their assets and prevent future family conflicts.

As part of the campaign, all 74 public notary offices in the state will participate. Benefits offered include Universal Wills for a cost of 1,000 pesos, free legal consultations, and extended operating hours. Officials noted that Oaxaca currently offers the lowest cost for Universal Wills in the country.

Data from the state administration shows an increase in the number of wills executed, rising from 500 in the first year to 700 in the third year of the current term.
