Oaxaca taxi concessionaires denounce TaxiSí program failures

Taxi concessionaires in Oaxaca have denounced a lack of transparency and technical failures regarding the TaxiSí application program, managed by the Secretariat of Mobility (Semovi).

Critics claim the app frequently displays fares significantly lower than those established by Semovi itself. Furthermore, concessionaires have raised concerns regarding the legality of the program's implementation, noting that the private company awarded the concession has not been identified. They have also reported that the Secretariat has declined written requests to disclose the bidding process, the specific contract details, and the legal basis for the new tariffs being utilized by the platform.
