WWE confirms Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker for Sunday Night’s Main Event
WWE has officially scheduled a match between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker for the inaugural Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 in Atlanta, Georgia. The bout is framed as a battle to determine the future of the company.
The announcement followed a confrontation on the August 17 episode of Monday Night RAW in Buffalo, New York. During the segment, Paul Heyman intervened to prevent an impromptu match, stating that marquee matchups between main-eventers must be properly promoted to maximize their impact. Heyman noted that the company answers to both fans and shareholders.
In addition to the Femi vs. Breakker match, the upcoming event will feature a rematch from WrestleMania 42 between Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. The August 24 episode of RAW is also set to include World Heavyweight Championship tournament semifinals featuring Penta vs. LA Parka and Dragon Lee vs. Rey Fenix, alongside a contract signing between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker.
