Obafemi Awolowo University releases 2026/2027 science faculty cut-off marks

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife has released the admission cut-off marks for its Faculty of Science for the 2026/2027 academic session. The marks apply to various categories, including Merit, Catchment Areas, and Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS).

Most science programmes, such as Applied Geophysics, Botany, Chemistry, Engineering Physics, Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology, have set a cut-off mark of 50.00. Other specific requirements include Biochemistry at 50.93, Microbiology at 50.78, and Science Laboratory Technology at 50.13. The university noted that meeting these minimum scores does not guarantee admission.
