Oberá hosts 46th National Immigrant Festival in Misiones
The 46th Fiesta Nacional del Inmigrante is currently being held at the Parque de las Naciones in Oberá, Misiones. The event features 16 different immigrant communities and the Pabellón Argentino, showcasing diverse traditions through typical houses, music, dance, and architecture.
Visitors can explore a wide culinary selection, including over 450 traditional dishes. Specific highlights include the Italian community's offerings, which range from antipastos like arancini and focaccia to various pasta dishes, ossobuco milanés, and desserts such as tiramisu and cannoli. The festival also hosts the Feria del Inmigrante, the 36th Commercial and Business Fair, and the 44th Provincial Handicraft Fair. The event has drawn significant crowds from within Misiones, other Argentine provinces, and neighboring countries like Brazil.
