Oberalp Group emphasizes recycling and product longevity in new report

The Oberalp Group, a mountain sports brand group based in Bozen, has released its 'Contribute 2025' sustainability report. The company is increasing its focus on circularity through textile-to-textile recycling, monomaterial design, and extending product lifespans.

Key initiatives include the integration of recycled materials into market-ready products. For Salewa’s 90th anniversary, a limited product was released made from 100% recycled polyester, with 51% derived from textile-to-textile recycling. Additionally, LaMunt has utilized 100% polyester components for selected fleece products.

To promote longer product usage, the group has expanded its repair services. Since 2023, more than 7,000 products have been refurbished through services such as Dynafit’s Care-&-Repair, Salewa’s Second-Life program, and Evolv’s resoling service. The company noted that repairs increased by 19% in 2025.
