Oberbergischer Kreis signs NRW Charter for work-care compatibility

The Oberbergischer Kreis district administration has signed the North Rhine-Westphalia Charter for the compatibility of work and care. District Administrator Klaus Grootens signed the document to promote a care-friendly corporate culture and provide support for employees who are responsible for caring for relatives at home.

Following an initiative by the Pflegenetzwerk Oberberg (P. NetO), the district aims to ease the burden on staff facing the sudden organizational and personal challenges of family caregiving. The commitment includes providing reliable contact persons, transparent information, and flexible support options to help employees remain in the workforce during difficult family life phases.
