Oberwesel school hosts record career orientation day
The Heuss-Adenauer Mittelrhein-Realschule plus in Oberwesel recently hosted a record-breaking career information day to assist students with vocational and academic orientation. The event featured 24 companies and three secondary schools providing insights into internships, specific training professions, and necessary qualifications.
Participating partners included BOMAG, Deutsche Bahn, Hahn Automation, Schottel, and Sander Gourmet, alongside local entities such as the police and the Rhein-Hunsrück-Wasser utility. Rather than a traditional fair, the event utilized small workshops lasting 45 minutes to facilitate personal information exchange and networking. Students selected courses based on their specific interests to gain practical insights into various career paths.
