Obiageli Orah joins Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria
Obiageli Orah, Executive Director for Special Duties at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, was inducted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD) in Lagos. Orah, a medical professional with an MSc in Medical Ultrasound from Bournemouth University and a BSc in Radiography & Imaging from the University of Hertfordshire, has previously served as Deputy Chairperson of Protocol in Anambra State and as a board director of the National Directorate of Employment. She is also vice‑president of the Association of Medical Ultrasound Practitioners of Nigeria.
The induction ceremony was themed “The Director Mandate: Governing for Value and Resilience.” Prof. Konyinsola Ajayi, a partner at Olaniwun Ajayi LP, urged newly inducted directors to promote ethical leadership, ensure institutional sustainability, and adapt to challenges such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and climate change.
