Obimasa board to dismiss manager and review contested recruitment in Ceuta
The public company Obimasa will hold an extraordinary board meeting on Tuesday at 13:00 to examine the fallout from the contested selection process for three forest‑expert positions and the creation of a job pool. The agenda includes assessing the actions taken during the process, reviewing the report issued by the qualifying tribunal, and deciding whether to declare the procedure null and void.
The board will also consider terminating Fernando Ramos Oliva as the company's manager; he also chaired the tribunal that oversaw the selection. Government spokesperson and board president Alejandro Ramírez said the final decision will rely exclusively on the technical and legal reports attached to the administrative file and will not be driven by political considerations.
