Obinwa Obichukwu sentenced to two years for sexual assault at London’s Euston station

Obinwa Obichukwu, a 45‑year‑old Nigerian resident of Hertfordshire, was convicted of two counts of sexual assault that occurred on 20 August 2023 near London’s Euston railway station. After approaching a lone woman, he allegedly grabbed her, made unwelcome advances and assaulted her twice – first outside the station entrance and again near the ticket barriers. British Transport Police investigated, using CCTV footage and the victim’s testimony, and arrested Obichukwu at his home.

At Inner London Crown Court on 21 July, the jury found him guilty. He received a two‑year custodial sentence, a ten‑year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will remain on the UK sex‑offenders register for ten years. Detectives described him as a “sexual predator.”
