Object First posts 148% order surge in Q2 2026, expands immutable backup services

Object First, a provider of ransomware‑secure immutable backup storage, announced that orders in the second quarter of 2026 grew 148% year‑on‑year.

Growth was strongest in the EMEA region, where orders rose 205%, and in North and South America, where they increased 111%. The number of six‑digit contracts rose 133%, including two seven‑digit deals. Paying customers grew 74% to a presence in 45 countries, and paying partners rose 65%.

The company also launched “Fleet Manager”, a cloud‑based service that simplifies management of distributed backup deployments for Veeam environments and supports multi‑tenant architectures. A Portuguese university highlighted the solution to improve ransomware resilience and reduce operational complexity.

Object First says immutable backup is a critical defense line, allowing rapid, secure data recovery that can determine a business’s survival after cyber‑attacks.
