Oblivion Remastered launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on Aug 11
Bethesda announced that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on 11 August. The port, developed by Virtuos, includes the original game plus the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions. A physical Deluxe edition will be sold on game cards, with pre‑orders already available.
The Switch 2 version supports DLSS, runs at 900 p and 30 fps in handheld mode and 1080 p at 30 fps when docked, and adds motion‑control, touchscreen and mouse‑style inputs. The remaster follows previous releases on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, which received mixed reviews due to technical issues, but the new console may allow further performance improvements.
