Encceja 2026: Reapplication deadline set for August 28
The National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) has set the final deadline for Encceja 2026 reapplication requests for August 28, 2026. This opportunity is available to participants who missed the original exams on August 23 due to specific health reasons—such as COVID-19, influenza, or measles—or logistical issues like natural disasters and power outages.
Reapplication exams are scheduled for October 6 for those seeking elementary school certification and October 7 for high school certification. Following the exams, the official answer key is expected by September 4, with individual results scheduled for release on December 14.
To obtain certification, candidates must score at least 100 points in each required knowledge area and a minimum of 5 on the essay. Inep does not issue certificates directly; students must request them from their chosen certifying institution, such as a State Department of Education or a Federal Institute.
