Obra: Religious vows and 50th anniversary celebrated by Missionary Oblates

Religious ceremonies took place at the Alma Mater retreat house in Obra, involving the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). During the celebrations, members of the order made various religious commitments.

Cleric Dawid Sowa OMI made his perpetual profession, vowing poverty, chastity, obedience, and perseverance. The ceremony was presided over by Wojciech Popielewski OMI, the Provincial of the Polish Province of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The event also marked the 50th anniversary of religious profession for several fathers.

Additionally, two novices made their first religious vows on September 7. These vows signify the completion of their novitiate and their formal entry into the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. During the liturgy, Father Michał Pabiańczyk delivered a homily emphasizing that religious vocations are gifts of divine mercy rather than personal achievements.
