Obscene Extreme festival to relocate to Hradec Králové

The Obscene Extreme music festival is relocating to Park 360 in Hradec Králové after 27 years at the Bojiště site in Trutnov. The move is scheduled for the 2027 edition, taking place from July 7 to 11.

Founder Miloslav ‘Čurby’ Urbanec cited inadequate technical facilities at the Trutnov site and increasing urban development in the surrounding areas as primary reasons for the change. The new location in Hradec Králové offers improved infrastructure, including ceramic toilets, better parking, and proximity to city hotels.

The relocation aims to expand the festival's offerings. Planned additions include glamping options, a dedicated festival pub, lectures, exhibitions, and the return of afterparties. Confirmed musical acts for the upcoming event include GWAR, Napalm Death, The Exploited, Brujeria, and 324.
