Oburu Oginga undergoes medical treatment in the UK

Siaya Senator and ODM Party leader Oburu Oginga has stepped away from political activities to undergo medical treatment in the United Kingdom. Following medical advice, Oginga is receiving assessments and rest while doctors monitor his condition.

While his family reports that his health has improved, he remains in the UK for continued evaluation. During his absence, the ODM leadership, including Deputy Party Leaders Paul Simba Arati and Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, will manage the party’s day-to-day operations and political preparations for the 2027 General Election.
