Ocass reaches 2026 National Phases final after penalty win

Ocass of Diourbel has qualified for the 2026 National Phases final after defeating Gallo Malick in a penalty shootout. Following a scoreless draw, Ocass secured a 5-4 victory on penalties.

Coach Vieux Cissé noted that the match was difficult due to Gallo Malick’s organized defensive block and high level of concentration. Cissé also highlighted challenges regarding squad changes and a lack of concentration among players making their first appearance in the tournament.

Ocass is scheduled to face Super Étoile in the final at the Lamine Guèye stadium this Sunday. Cissé expressed his ambition to win the trophy for the Diourbel region.
