Italy hosts various cultural and literary events

Various cultural and literary events are scheduled across Italy, ranging from book presentations to major journalism festivals.

In Modena, the DIG Festival will take place from September 23 to 27, serving as a major European hub for investigative journalism. The 2026 edition, themed ‘Bella Ciao’, will address topics such as democratic debate, climate crisis, and organized crime.

Other literary highlights include the ‘A Libro Aperto’ philosophical-literary series in Francavilla Fontana, focusing on Mediterranean lexicon, and the ‘Libri in Castello’ festival in Molazzana. Book presentations are also set for Palazzolo Acreide, dedicated to the memory of journalist Damiano Chiaramonte, and Rizziconi, featuring Roberto Longordo’s work on the ethics of inhabiting space in Calabria.

Additional events include the presentation of a book on the life of tango composer Aníbal Troilo in Isernia, a debut novel by Cinzia Cognetti in Ferrara, and a historical publication regarding the Senigallia Fair in Senigallia.
