Ocean County hosts free family events this weekend

Ocean County, New Jersey, is hosting four free community events scheduled for the weekend of August 22–23, 2026.

On Saturday, August 22, the Beachwood Community Luau will take place at Beachwood Beach from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Later that evening, the Barnegat Summer Concerts will feature live outdoor music at the Barnegat Docks starting at 6:30 PM.

Sunday, August 23, features the Jackson Day Celebration at Johnson Park from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, offering live entertainment, local vendors, a craft fair, and a drone show. The weekend concludes with a free beach movie screening of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ at 8:30 PM.
