Ocean Photographer of the Year finalists showcase marine life

The finalists for this year’s Ocean Photographer of the Year awards showcase diverse marine life and changing ocean habitats across various categories, including adventure, conservation, and human connection.

Notable winning images include a scorpionfish hunting a lizardfish in the Philippines and a male octopus mating with a female at the Great Barrier Reef’s Lady Elliot Island in Australia. Additionally, photography from the Falkland Islands captured seal pups exploring shallow rock pools during their transition to independence.
