Ocean's Eleven Prequel Cast Adds Monica Barbaro and Josh Gad

The upcoming prequel to the "Ocean's Eleven" franchise is set in 1962 during the Monaco Grand Prix and will focus on the heist that defined the Ocean family’s origins. Production will be overseen by Bradley Cooper, and the cast now includes Brazilian actor Wagner Moura as the villain, American actress Monica Barbaro, and comedian‑actor Josh Gad. The film will portray the parents of Danny Ocean, played in the original series by George Clooney, in their prime as they execute an epic robbery at the race.

The project is being developed by a multinational team, with added star power from the Hollywood talent pool, and aims to blend classic caper storytelling with the historic backdrop of the 1962 Formula 1 event.
