Ocelotes football team seeks support for national tournament

The inclusive football team Ocelotes is seeking public and corporate support to fund their participation in the ‘Primer torneo nacional de futbol inclusivo’ (First National Inclusive Football Tournament). The event is scheduled to take place in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, at the end of October.

Team representative Roth Stewer Martínez stated that after being informed by the DIF that current buses are not in suitable condition for the trip, the team has turned to the Oaxacan community and private companies for transportation assistance. The group aims to transport 21 athletes and their companions from October 23 to October 25. The tournament is organized by the Coatzacoalcos City Council and the Delfines de Coatzacoalcos Inclusive Club.
