Ocho mujeres returns to Argentine theater after 15 years

The comedy 'Ocho mujeres', based on the work of Robert Thomas, is returning to the stage 15 years after its initial production. Directed by José María Muscari, the play is scheduled to premiere on October 8 at the Multiteatro.

The production reunites six actresses from the original cast: María Leal, Mónica Villa, Silvia Pérez, Emilia Mazer, Cecilia Dopazo, and Juana Repetto. They are joined by Marita Ballesteros and Linda Peretz, who take over the roles previously held by Norma Pons and Hilda Bernard.

The plot centers on a family dealing with the death of the head of the household, leading to a series of suspicions among the women present. The play is described as a psychological comedy that explores secrets, family conflicts, and motives related to money and appearances.
