Police in Romania conduct theft investigations and locate missing person

Several criminal investigations and police actions have been reported across different Romanian regions. In Cluj, a man from Buzău was placed in preventive arrest after being identified nine days following the theft of a bag containing approximately 1,000 euros and 250 lei from a local bar.

In Alba County, a man from Ocna Mureș was detained for 24 hours following searches related to a qualified theft investigation. Authorities allege the suspect entered buildings in Alba Iulia between July and September, stealing 4,900 Canadian dollars, 6,000 euros, 800 lei, and jewelry.

Additionally, a 47-year-old man who had voluntarily disappeared from Pietroșani, Argeș, was located safely in the Corbi commune after a citizen spotted his vehicle and alerted the authorities.
