OCR El Ejido Hybrid launches in El Ejido

A new sports initiative, OCR El Ejido Hybrid, has been launched in El Ejido to establish the municipality as a reference point for obstacle course racing (OCR) and hybrid disciplines such as HYROX and DEKA.

Linked to Lobero Fit, the project is led by technical experts Antonio José Martín and Marcos Rodríguez Lechuga, both of whom are members of the Spanish OCR National Team. The initiative follows significant international success by its members, including Marcos Rodríguez Lechuga, a world champion in the 400-meter obstacle event, and Jaime Pardo, a world champion in the Standard Course.

Local sports official María José Martín praised the project, noting its potential for growth and its ability to combine strength, endurance, and community spirit.
