Octant Ponta Delgada announces Chef’s Journey dinner series

Paulo Leite, the executive chef at Octant Ponta Delgada, has announced a series of three dinners titled ‘Chef’s Journey’ to be held in the Azores between October and November. The event series is designed to reflect the different stages of Leite’s professional development by hosting mentors and former colleagues.

The first dinner will take place on October 17 with chef Duarte Eira from Salpoente in Aveiro, featuring dishes such as Aveiro oyster and smoked eel. The second event, scheduled for November 14, features two-Michelin-starred chef Ricardo Costa from The Yeatman, who was Leite’s first professional mentor. The final dinner on November 21 will feature Joachim and Cintia Koerper, with whom Leite worked between 2015 and 2017.

Each dinner is priced at 120 euros per person and includes wine pairing.
