Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham debut 'Ride or Die' on Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has launched the eight‑episode action‑comedy series Ride or Die, starring Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer and Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham. Spencer plays Debbie, the American wife of a British Member of Parliament, who discovers her longtime friend Judith (Waddingham) is an elite assassin. The plot follows the two women as they flee a mysterious enemy, relying on decades of friendship while confronting hidden secrets. Both actresses serve as executive producers and said the series emphasizes female empowerment and the reinvention of women later in life. They met for the first time via Zoom before filming and highlighted the importance of their off‑screen bond. The cast also includes Bill Nighy as the Director, Ed Skrein, Jamie Parker and others. Ride or Die is available for streaming in more than 240 countries and territories.
