October film and streaming releases feature diverse genres

The October film landscape offers a variety of genres ranging from major Hollywood productions to niche independent releases. Notable cinematic entries include Brad Pitt in ‘V srdci divočiny’, Christopher Nolan’s ‘Odyssea’, and the horror film ‘Resident Evil’. Other significant releases include ‘Digger’ starring Tom Cruise, which has received mixed reviews from critics, and the thriller ‘Pravda, nebo lež’, based on a novel by Colleen Hoover.

On streaming platforms like Netflix, new content includes a documentary on the life and death of Matthew Perry, the Mexican mini-series ‘El Mayův pád’ regarding drug cartels, and various international titles such as the Italian comedy ‘Ty, já, my’ and the South Korean horror series ‘Pekelná práce’. Local Czech and Slovak productions, such as the romantic debut ‘Milovník, ne bojovník’, are also part of the seasonal lineup.
