Octopus Energy launches fixed-rate electricity and gas tariffs in Italy

Octopus Energy has introduced energy tariff options for domestic users in Italy, including a fixed-rate plan called Octopus Fissa 12M. This plan allows customers to lock in the price of raw materials for 12 months, providing protection against market volatility.

Under the Octopus Fissa 12M plan, electricity is priced at 0.1595 €/kWh and natural gas at 0.73 €/Smc. Monthly commercialization costs are set at 6 euros for electricity and 7 euros for gas. The electricity component utilizes 100% renewable energy. These rates do not include transport, meter management, system charges, regulatory charges, taxes, or VAT.

As an alternative, the company offers the Octopus Flex Mono plan. This indexed formula links raw material prices to wholesale market indices: the PUN Index GME for electricity and the PSVDA for gas. This plan includes a spread of 0.0088 €/kWh for electricity and 0.06 €/Smc for gas, while maintaining the same monthly commercialization fees.
