Octopus Rising Announces August 28 Release of New Albums by Petrosa and FANE

Italian stoner/doom band Petrosa released its second single “Viper” and confirmed that its debut album “Roadburn Chronicles” will be issued on August 28, 2026 through Octopus Rising, the Argonauta Records imprint for emerging heavy acts. The album, recorded in an eight‑day session between November 2024 and January 2025, explores themes of sin, self‑destruction and redemption while blending stoner rock grooves with classic doom weight.

FANE issued its second single “Dead Shepherd” ahead of the forthcoming album “Armageddon Scars,” also slated for an August 28 release via Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records. Recorded in the fall of 2025, the album mixes doom, sludge, hardcore and black‑metal influences and focuses on endurance, damage and aftermath. Both releases will be available on CD and digital formats.
