OD: Tentations au soleil production suspended after Panama earthquake

Production of the reality television series ‘OD: Tentations au soleil’ has been suspended following a powerful earthquake in Panama. Bell Media and Productions J announced that host Maripier Morin and all contestants will return to Quebec shortly.

The production teams are currently evaluating options for the future of the project. While filming for this specific series is on indefinite pause, the broadcast of ‘Occupation Double Panama’ will continue as scheduled and remains unaffected by the event.

The earthquake, which prompted a state of emergency and evacuations in Panama, was recorded with varying magnitude reports ranging from 7.6 to 7.7. Although the tremor was severe and followed by numerous aftershocks, production officials confirmed that all staff and contestants are safe and unharmed, noting that the filming villas were located several hundred kilometers from the epicenter.
