Odaiba drone show to feature disaster relief QR code for Kumamoto

Red Cliff, in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention Organization, will host a special drone show at Odaiba Marine Park on August 29 and 30, 2026. The event features 800 drones performing alongside the ‘Tokyo Aqua Symphony’ fountain show. Two 10-minute programs, ‘Canon’ and ‘SAKURA FUBUKI’, will be presented at 19:00 and 21:00 on both nights.

As part of the event, Red Cliff is utilizing the drone show to provide disaster relief support for Yatsushiro City in Kumamoto Prefecture. Following the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake, the show’s finale will display a QR code in the night sky. This code will direct spectators to a Rakuten Furusato Nozei page, allowing them to make immediate donations to support the recovery and reconstruction efforts in Yatsushiro City.

Red Cliff CEO Kohei Sasaki noted that the company has a long-standing relationship with Yatsushiro, having conducted drone shows there since 2022. The initiative aims to use the shared experience of watching the sky to connect people in Tokyo with the needs of the earthquake-affected region.
