Odake-ji temple features rare ritualistic carvings

Odake-ji temple in Kitsuki, Oita Prefecture, features unique religious elements, including a Kurikara dragon carving and various cup-shaped holes (haijo-ana) found on stone steps and water basins. These carvings are often associated with rituals for fertility and life-giving deities.
