Odell Beckham Jr. sees limited role in Giants' season opener win

Odell Beckham Jr. made a highly anticipated return to the New York Giants during their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, but played a minimal role in the 28-20 victory. Despite an enthusiastic reception from the crowd at MetLife Stadium, the 33-year-old wide receiver finished the game without a catch.

Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns, targeting seven different pass-catchers. Beckham Jr., who was listed fourth on the depth chart, did not receive any targets during the contest. His limited involvement follows a period of roster uncertainty and previous injury struggles.

Beckham Jr. expressed gratitude for his return, stating it is a “testament to God and His plan” and noting that his current role reflects who he is now rather than who he was during his earlier career highlights.
