Odesur Games drive sports training and athletic competition in Argentina and Uruguay

The Odesur Games have brought together various sporting and academic activities across the region. In Entre Ríos, Argentina, the provincial Secretariat of Sports, in collaboration with the National University of Entre Ríos and the Paranaense Softball Association, held an academic seminar for over 200 teachers and students. The event focused on physical education and talent development, featuring keynote speaker Jamir Enrique Iriarte Gómez from Colombia.

In Santa Fe, Argentina, officials from Soriano, Uruguay, are attending the games to support local athletes. Rodrigo Eugui, Director of Sports for the Soriano Intendency, was invited by the Uruguayan Olympic Committee to witness the competitions. Notable performances include bronze medals in rowing by Ynela Aires and Cloe Callorda, and gold and silver medals won by Felipe Klüver. The delegation also provided support to cyclist Mariana García Britos following a crash during the women's time trial.
