Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan announces 815 teacher and principal vacancies

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), operating under the School and Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha, has announced the recruitment of 815 principals and teachers. The vacancies are for direct recruitment across Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) and Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas (OMAVs).

The positions include 105 principals, 101 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Science, and 321 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in English, Odia, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Additional roles include 87 art teachers, 70 computer teachers, and 60 physical education teachers.

Online registration is scheduled to open on October 12, 2026, with a deadline of November 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Principal candidates are required to hold a Master’s degree with at least 45% aggregate marks, a B.Ed. degree, and relevant experience, with an age limit between 32 and 50 years.
