Odisha CM announces recruitment of 45,000 teachers
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced that the state government will fill 45,000 vacant teaching positions in schools. The announcement was made during Teachers’ Day celebrations at the Secondary Board High School in Kataka.
Addressing students, Majhi urged them to avoid excessive social media use and misinformation, advising them to remain focused on their studies and career goals. He emphasized the importance of the Guru-Shishya tradition and described education as a process of building human beings.
The Chief Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector through free education from KG to PG, the establishment of Shishu Vatika centres, and the development of 2,200 Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Primary Schools.
