Odisha Executive Engineer Sanjay Kumar Kispatta Faces Vigilance Raids Over Disproportionate Assets

On Monday, the Odisha Vigilance Department conducted simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Sanjay Kumar Kispatta, the Executive Engineer of Odisha Construction Corporation (OCC) Ltd., as part of a disproportionate assets investigation. The properties include a rented residence in Tikra Sahi, Koraput; a four‑storey commercial building in Koraput town; an under‑construction residential house in the same area; his parental house and an under‑construction three‑storey building in Lateimunda, Sundargarh district; and his official residential quarters and office chambers in Bhubaneswar and Balangir. The raids are being carried out under warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, and are led by a team of six Deputy Superintendents of Police, eight inspectors and seven assistant sub‑inspectors. The investigation is ongoing, with details of any seized assets to be disclosed after the searches conclude. Odisha Vigilance recently reported a broader crackdown on officials with disproportionate assets, registering 202 cases in 2025 and uncovering assets worth roughly ₹120 crore across 49 DA cases.
