Odisha Government reshuffles OAS officers in major administrative shake-up

The Odisha government has implemented a major reshuffle within the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), transferring numerous officers to new roles across various departments and districts. The changes were officially notified by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

Key personnel changes include Subhasis Mansingh, who moves from Additional Commissioner in Cuttack to Additional Secretary of the Women & Child Development Department. Bibekananda Sahoo, previously Additional Secretary in the same department, has been appointed Additional Commissioner of the Additional Revisional Court in Bhubaneswar. Basudev Nayak has been posted as Additional Commissioner for Settlement and Consolidation in Cuttack.

Other significant assignments include Pratap Pritimaya as Additional Secretary to the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Ashutosh Samal as Secretary of the Odisha Human Rights Commission, and Saroj Kumar Swain as Secretary of the Cuttack Development Authority. At the district level, Mayadhar Behera has been appointed Additional District Magistrate of Angul.
