Odisha implements Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign through large-scale flag production and student rallies

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign running from August 9 to 17, various initiatives are underway across Odisha to promote national unity ahead of Independence Day. In Bhubaneswar, students and teachers have organized rallies and awareness activities to encourage civic responsibility and connection to the national flag.

In a large-scale production effort, Mission Shakti Self Help Groups (SHGs) across all 30 districts of Odisha have completed the manufacturing of 60 lakh national flags. This initiative involved 1,235 SHGs, 201 Producer Groups, and 138 Federations, with a total of 16,162 members participating. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida noted that the project demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit of women and provides sustainable livelihood opportunities through collective enterprise.
