Odisha MLAs’ Cooperative Society to be revived

The Odisha MLAs’ Cooperative Society is set to be reactivated following a prolonged period of inactivity. During a council meeting held at the MLA Guest House, members unanimously resolved to restore the organization’s functions.

Chaired by former Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Pradip Amat, the meeting included current and former legislators from various political backgrounds. The society, originally established in 2012, was intended to serve as an all-party platform for sitting and former lawmakers.

Following this resolution, the society plans to convene an executive committee meeting within the next 15 days to determine specific courses of action and upcoming programs.
