Odisha police and emergency personnel receive service medals

Odisha law enforcement and emergency personnel have been recognized with various service awards for excellence and gallantry.

Director General of Police Yogesh Bahadur Khurania presided over a ceremony at Police Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to felicitate 55 officers and employees with DGP Discs. These awards recognize exemplary service and dedication across various ranks, including superintendents, inspectors, and constables, to honor integrity and professionalism within the force.

Additionally, 23 personnel from Odisha have been selected for the Police Service Medals 2026. These honors include Gallantry Medals, President’s Medals for Distinguished Service, and Medals for Meritorious Service. The recipients represent the Odisha Police, Odisha Fire Service, Home Guard and Civil Defence, and the Correctional Service.
