Odisha police bust sex racket in Paradip

Tirtol police in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district have dismantled a suspected sex racket operating in the Rahama market area of Paradip. Acting on information provided by a social worker, authorities conducted a raid on a rented house in the presence of a magistrate.

During the operation, police detained four women, including the alleged kingpin, as well as a customer and the owner of the house. Preliminary investigations suggest the illegal operation had been functioning from the premises for an extended period, allegedly managed by one of the women who had rented the property.

Investigators are currently interrogating the detainees to identify other individuals involved in the activity and to determine the financial scale of the operation. Police are also working to establish the origins of the women involved.
