Odisha signs ₹913 crore MoUs to boost women‑led jobs at CII IWN Shakti Samman

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Indian Women Network (IWN) Odisha held the 4th edition of the Shakti Samman 2026 in Bhubaneswar, honoring 36 women achievers. The ceremony included the signing of 13 Memoranda of Understanding worth ₹913 crore, projected to create about 4,000 jobs across the state.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg highlighted the role of women entrepreneurs in Odisha’s vision to become a US$1 trillion economy by 2036‑47, noting the impact of the Subhadra Scheme and the establishment of District Investment Promotion Agencies that have processed over 3,000 applications. Additional Chief Secretary Hemant Sharma and CII Odisha Chairman Anil Kumar Singh praised the rapid growth of women‑led enterprises and the dedication required for entrepreneurship.
