Odisha State Transport Authority partners with Bharat Cares for road safety

The Odisha State Transport Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Cares to enhance road safety awareness throughout the state. The partnership focuses on using technology-enabled learning, behavioral interventions, and community outreach to educate drivers and license applicants.

As part of the initiative, five digital Tab-Lab centers will be established at Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Keonjhar, and Angul. Applicants for learner’s and driving licenses will participate in a structured, tablet-based program featuring interactive educational content, videos, assessments, and counseling sessions regarding traffic rules and safe driving practices.

Additionally, a pilot road safety awareness program is planned for 30 educational institutions in Bhubaneswar to encourage responsible behavior among students.
