Odisha Tourism Conclave to be held in Bhubaneswar on October 23

The Hotel & Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) will host the 7th Odisha Tourism Conclave on October 23 in Bhubaneswar. The event is scheduled to be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, with Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati attending the valedictory ceremony.

The conclave aims to establish tourism as a primary driver for investment, employment, and economic growth within the state. Key discussion topics include attracting large-scale private investment for world-class hotels and resorts, improving air connectivity, and increasing both domestic and international tourist footfalls.

Stakeholders will also focus on promoting Odisha’s Buddhist tourism potential and positioning the state as a competitive destination for international travelers. The event serves as a platform for the government and industry professionals to exchange ideas and formulate recommendations, supported by efforts such as the amendment of the Odisha Tourism Policy, 2022, to foster a more investor-friendly environment.
