Odisha Travel Bazaar 2026 concludes with 9,000 business meetings
The seventh edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2026 concluded in Bhubaneswar, facilitating over 9,000 Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings. Organized by the Odisha Tourism Department in collaboration with FICCI, the three-day event aimed to expand the state's presence in both domestic and international tourism markets.
The event hosted more than 200 buyers and over 100 tourism businesses, including 145 domestic tour operators and 45 international operators from 27 countries. Discussions focused on Odisha's diverse offerings, such as heritage, spiritual destinations, wildlife, and tribal culture.
A major priority of the bazaar was investment promotion. Approximately 40 hospitality brands and 250 investors participated in discussions regarding the state's tourism and hospitality sectors. Officials highlighted investment incentives, land availability, and simplified approval processes to encourage private sector growth. Additionally, the event emphasized Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism, marked by the inauguration of the Odisha MICE Incentive Portal to facilitate digital applications and promote the state as a corporate event destination.
