Odisha Youth Congress holds torch rally in Bhubaneswar over education irregularities

The Odisha Youth Congress organized a torch (mashal) rally in Bhubaneswar to protest against the state's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. The demonstration targeted alleged irregularities in the education system, specifically citing frequent exam paper leaks and the presence of over 3,000 errors in school textbooks.

Odisha Congress president Bhakta Charan Das stated the protest follows a call to action by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Senior Congress leader Manas Choudhury criticized the state government's handling of education, alleging that the situation regarding paper leaks is particularly severe and that officials have failed to address student concerns.
